The Sheep Shaggers In The Championship With A Tenner In The Bank
As well has Hourihane, they're saying James Chester, David McGoldrick and possibly James Collins.

Collins is an interesting one - he was excellent for Luton in the Championship a couple of seasons ago (if it's the same one I'm thinking of).

They're clearly going down the experienced pros route!

The benefits from having a completely empty wage bill I guess. Still surprising as it feels like these guys must be on decent osh wages for a league one club

I'm wondering if it is family decisions based on location-a bit like when Commons signed for Sheep- McGoldrick still lives in Nottingham. Imagine Hourihane lives east side of Brum.

Hourihane is an interesting one. 29 games last season at Sheff Utd but pretty sure that included alot off the bench. My gut feeling is he would be a good Championship player, but Sheff Utd - or any other Championship club for that matter- could have signed him for free.

I also worry that the Rosenior factor may be kicking in as he is widely regarded as being a very good young coach....a bit of a Steve Cooper type from a year or two ago!!

On paper they appear to be building a competitive squad but without the Rooney factor to make sure they underachieve.  I don't like it at all.

They still owe Lech Poznan for Jozwiak, right? Incredible that they were allowed to sell him to Charlotte and not pay the 2.5 mil they owe for him.

He turned down Sheff Utd apparently. Shame. That would have been an excellent combination for us to enjoy. He might have been able to give his new team mates some advice on the criminal justice system. Never mind.

It would have been so cool. If only the guy could've kept his show on the road for a couple of more weeks he would've been able to sign on the line and treat us to another couple of years of entertainment. Such a shame.

Now about to lose Bielik their best player by a mile, hardly surprising, think they still owe a ton of money on him. Very good buy for Birmingham if they can keep him fit, knees made of pure biscuit.
