Really good and lengthy interview with Wozza out today on Robin Chipperfield's youtube channel. 

Says he was ready to leave in the summer but got let down by the prem club who signed someone else instead.  Says he will leave for the prem without hesitation if the right offer comes along!

Also very critical of Rangers fans which wont go dont down too well. 

I reckon hes going to get a fair bit of flack over this.

Great interview.

It's very sad to hear about all the abuse these young players get on social media. Joe talks about Yates and Osborn as well. I just don't understand how people can get themselves to post abusive comments to players in the team they support. We are talking about young players trying desperately to make it as footballers. It's just sad really.

It's nice to get confirmation of an explanation of what happened at least. Bit annoying really, think it was the right time to sell and would've been helpful for restructuring the team.

After hearing how candid he is regarding him leaving for the premier league, it's absolutely certain he's a gonner this summer. And Brennan is a dead cert to be gone in January too. 

So we might get to the summer with no Zinc, No Spence, No Lowe, No Grabban, No Wozza, No Brennan,  No Garner. Pretty grim. Basically two thirds of a new team required.

All those players leaving but just Brennan and Wozza leaving for money. So £20m incoming but 7 good players to replace. Sounds grim to me Sniff. You don't build a promotion side by changing two thirds of a side's best players every summer.

It's always been selling Academy, some loans, some permanent.

The loans will largely go back.  Worrall is going 'at some point' unless Forest do it for Worrall.  Likely Brennan will go in January because of the contract situation.

Zinc Man could be recalled.

One door closes.  Another opens.  That's football.  But we see Blackpool, Luton and Coventry bucking their budgets.  Forest have to do the same and there is no reason with so many games to go that Forest can't get into those positions being a 'mere' 6 points off the play offs.  Win a couple of games and use January to build some momentum.

If we truly are progressive with our new CEO, it's the chance to build and get 'as good as' Brentford at recruitment.

We're building.  Allegedly.  I look to January as evidence of this progressive 3-4 window transfer policy.

The chances are that a couple of those player's will re-sign though, they won't all not be here next season. Plus about 25M smackaroos to spend. Looks good to me.

We are paying for our previous mismanagement, it was bound to catch up with us at some point and when you are reliant upon the number of loans like we have been this season then it is inevitable that one summer is going to need a influx of new players.

It will take DM a good couple of windows to truly rectify the mess he inherited.

We all knew this.

Anyway, back to Joe, I think he's had a really good season and hopefully that will enhance / reinforce his value to any clubs looking in. I suspect Brentford will have moved on now in terms of the quality of player that they are looking at. I I just hope he doesn't move to someone like Norwich.
