he has only played 14 mins this season in the league and that was in the first game of the season.

it never looked like a good move for the lad really did it.  as Jenas said it stunk of an agent trying to get the best deal.

Whoever it was - Fawaz/Agent it was not a good move or deal 
for the lad and they might just have ruined his potential/Career.

Its a no for me....if he is not good enough for one of our rivals, then he is not good for us ...in January we want to improve by bring better then what we have got and not worst or similar... I prefer to spend a 5 million loan deal for a Premiership player (especially a striker) that can make the difference, then spending 1 million on a player that has barely played a full game ... for months now...

- Soudani
- Goncalves
- Osborn

In addition to those 6 we have Appiah who is waiting in the wings. Based on that list of players I don't believe there is room for Burke without pushing one out and it's difficult to see who should that should be. Goncalves could be a candidate but I believe that he has a bigger potential than Burke.

and why would we do that? is Burke any better than what we have at the moment? people have to forget that start of the season (2 years ago), they have to look at Burke`s record since then...many players had potential and then fizzled away, the fella might be another of that list ...is it worth for us to risk the season to give a lifeline to Burke? ... sorry but I am not for it...

The amount of minutes he's played this season is misleading, he is still struggling with injury and seeing a local physio in addition to the support team at West Brom to try and shake off his niggles.

If Forest bring in players, I suspect they may like some of our other targets, 'unexpected' and perhaps battle hardened.

to be fair to burke, on his day...Osborn ,cash, dias and goncalves wouldn't touch him in relation to his pace and the threat he poses on the wing.

imagine an on song burke on one side and Lolley on the other.

that's obviously a massive IF though. he hasn't done it in a long time now.

A few on here seem to think that we need a right sided player with a bit of pace and power in January.

Should we make a cheeky bid to bring Burke back?
