Emiliano Marcondes available on a free, just left Brentford.

He’s another player we were linked with in Jan.

His scoring stats don’t look an upgrade, however he’s been a regular for Brentford so should be good enough

He wouldnt be a bad shout. Unusual of Brentford to let a decent players contract run down though? Suggests they had no interest in keeping him, they would normally get them to sign an extension then sell for a fee. Or suggests the player had a hefty wage demand.

Brentford would probably have kept him if they had stayed in the championship but they probably don't think he's going to get many games in the prem so better if he moves on. That is my guess.

I've just looked at his stats. Since he's been at Brentford he's only ever been a bit part player for them.
