So we now know the 24 teams that will compete in The Championship for season 2021/22.
Sheffield United, West Brom, Fulham, Hull, Peterborough and Blackpool are the newcomers.

Well are we a 100% sure on that because the EFL have 2 weeks until the AGM to punish Derby for this season.
I know it’s unlikely to be done in 2 weeks but can live in hope.

West Brom and Fulham for top 2. Sheff Utd and Bournemouth top 6 for certain.
Leaves 2 more places for another 10 or so teams that will scrap it out.
The Championship used to be known for its unpredictability, last season was anything but and I predict next year the same. Parachute money is killing the competition the same way as it is in the Prem.

I'll wait to see every teams transfer business before making a prediction.

I have to say i find it very hard to see beyond the three that came down so far and unless we make some amazing signings or somehow CH manages to get two years of coaching of his way into a preseason. i really don't see us changing from a mid table side who might look like they could make the play offs but still one eye on those down at the bottom.

Queens Park Rangers have re-signed striker Charlie Austin on a free transfer from fellow Championship club West Bromwich Albion.

Barnsley have signed Motherwell striker Devante Cole on a three-year deal.
The 26-year-old will join the Reds as a free agent on 1 July after turning down a new deal with the Scottish Premiership side.
Cole is the son of former Manchester United and England striker Andrew.

Haven't Barnsley moved to following the moneyball model over reason years. So might be a good signing even if he hasn't set the world alight up here.

Interesting stuff at West Brom who I assumed would hire Wilder and walk the league next season. Their owner has apparently vetoed Wilder and wont pay comp for any manager so they are going for Wagner. I have a hunch that isnt going to go too well, they will still have way more spending power than virtually any other team but I sense there is trouble behind the scenes there.
