Player Suggestions For The 2021 Summer Transfer Window
#49
Think Colback was 3 years unfortunately, Cafu dont know.

There are at least 6 players on that list who are plain not good enough, you know who they are but they will be difficult to shift. On top of which I am guessing another 3 or 4 will move on. All of which means we are looking at a very big overhaul. Do we have the funds to pay for that whilst complying with P&S?

Yes and from that list I would like to see these leave
Jenkinson
Bong
Blackett
Arter
Fred
Colback
Taylor
Grabban
Costa

And from that list these might be sold
Samba
McKenna
Worrall
Figs
Soh
Yates
Carvho
Mighten
Johnson

So lots of work to be done only lolley injured and average smith sure to stay
Come on you mighty Reds

I can't fault the top list at all, and from the second list I'm half expecting any of them to be sold on , but to be honest I would like to see the club keep hold off Samba
McKenna
Worrall
Carvho
Mighten
Johnson
And gladly see all of the other's sold on, they simply aren't good enough, so that's 12 from your list that the club needs to ship out/sell and you can include Hefele and Dawson to the list also, now that would be a great success to see the club get rid off that lot and replace them with real quality....but this is Nffc

Why would you get rid of Cafu?

He's been good, one of our best player's.

I would definetly keep Cafu. Yates and or Gardner don't work without him in there. So he has to be doing something right.

I like Cafu too, he spreads play with mostly accurate forward passing. His finishing though is woeful. He needs to spend the summer kicking a tennis ball against a garage door marked with squares. To begin with he will miss the garage 9 times out of ten but gradually he will improve to be worth maybe 6 goals next season.

In regards to Cafu my bad, he has been one of our better players he deserves to stay, but I'm regards to Yates I'd definitely sell him on, he isn't good enough and he doesn't contribute enough towards getting goals or setting up our non scoring strikers, he is far too reckless and gives away too many needless fouls, running around a pitch like a headless chicken isn't good enough.

I would like to keep Yates he keeps on improving and is forest to the core
I am not to fussed about Cafu or colback average squad players not first team
I would try to re- sign Ribiero our best left back currently
Try to get garner and Christie back if nobody else available
Send all the other loan players back

Ribeiro is probably our best left back (not convinced) however even if he is he's still not good enough. We need better if we want to move forward in my opinion.

Last seasons Ribeiro was good enough, this season he has been inconsistent at best, possibly due to being unsettled but think he will be on his way. Ioannou I thought had potential but looked to me there was a fairly major falling out after he got red carded and doubt he will be back.
Which leaves Bong and Blackett neither of which are good enough or suit how we play with fullbacks pushing on, far too slow and get caught out of position constantly.

Some more suggestions

Ryan Nyambe, Blakburn - 23 year old out of contract in the summer – Played 170 games and international for Nambia (7 caps) Not a goal scorer though, no goals in all the games he has played - Nyambe has said that he models his playing style on that of Rio Ferdinand He is primarily a right-back, but can also play at centre-back and left-back. Not bad for a free

Joe Rothwell, also out of contract in the summer, the 26-year-old Blackburn midfielder, A graduate of the Manchester United youth system, signed from Oxford and has plenty of experience in the Championship. The box-to-box midfielder even earned the Goal of the Season award for a superb strike against Nottingham Forest at The City Ground a few seasons back.

Kyle Knole, Age 24. Right back Cambridge. Product of West Ham Academy made name for himself in Cambridge as an ever present in this year's promotion team. Defensively solid and good attacking stats (not too many goals but still developing).

Luke O’Neil – Age 26. Played consistently well for Sunderland and highly thought of right back who named in league one team of the year again.

Callum Elder. Age 26. Hull Left back with experience in Championship and helped Hull to winning League one. Athletic full back who gets up and down left hand side. Australian who started off in the Leicester Academy.

Ibou Toray Age 26. Salford left back with over 165 games for them learning in lower leagues. Also a full Gambian international with 5 caps to his name.

Will Boyle. Age 25 Cheltenham 6.3” centre back who help guide his team to promotion. Potentially a future Scottish international who in 135 games for Cheltenham has chipped in with 19 goals, including 6 this season.

Ryan Giles, 21 year old attacking right back or Midfielder playing at Rotherham on loan from Wolves. Has one of the most crossers in the championship. Spent time on loan at Coventry and Shrewsbury as well and also represented England u21.

Rob Atkinson – Age 22. 6.4” giant centre back playing for Oxford who was named in the League one Team of the Year.

Lee Burge- 28 year old playing for Sunderland. Been best keeper in League one this season.

Joe Ward – 25 year old right Winger from Peterborough, another player who had a good season for the Posh

Paul Mullin. 26 year old who has scored and impressive 33 goals in 50 games for Cheltenham and helped them to promotion. Was voted 2nd best player in League 2.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR  :)
