2nd game in 48 hours and Chris Hughton didn't make any changes versus Cardiff except the usual token/late changes, also think we were very fortunate to come away with all 3 points and were obviously tiring

QPR destroyed Coventry and made 5 changes in the 2nd half, but then when your 3.0 you can, i also believe that hanging on to a 1 nil is far more tiring and jittery than being in complete control after an hour

Personally i think Warburton is a better manager than Chris Hughton and this game in many ways for me anyway will be an indication of how big a mistake it was getting rid of Warburton, the legacy if of course there is one can be discussed after the game

I predicted a few games ago that this game would be Hughton's Coup de grace which in itself to many is absurd but in the same way what did sacking Warburton achieve besides generally misery, negativity and about 100 players through the revolving doors

What i would just love would be for either side to give the other a footballing lesson, but not just under Hughton but since Warburton we, as in Forest have predominantly only scraped and stolen points and crawled over the line

Hughton might scrape something but if he can set up to outplay a confident QPR team i will eat my words

This game is so epimotic in so many ways, looking forward to it

WOW !

Mark Warburton a better manager than Hughton.

In no World is Warburton even in the same class as Hughton.

Warburton is the worst manager we have had in recent years in my opinion. He bored me to death.

Yep, me too. People say they couldnt watch Cardiff every week but at least they actually get the ball in the box, rather than Warburton's pass pass for the sake of passing drivel.

Nah. Even in that universe, Hughton will still be the better manager.

2 dimensional.

I credit his belief in his 'Plan A' approach.  And he, in time, has done 'ok' with QPR.  But that's all they (or Forest were) are going to get.  'Ok.'

Hit and Miss.  Tippy tappy football.  % based possession.  But largely toothless.

Twice now he hasn't set the league alight with either Forest or QPR.  Sure, he likes to get the ball down and pass.

I'm sure Hughton would say the same thing.  Except that Hughton knows that unless you're pragmatic (and ruthless, putting the likes of Cardiff to the sword) in the Championship you'll get spanked to relegation as was going to happen under the previous Forest pretender 'Sabri.'

Some can bemoan Hughton's 'insurance' backed style of football but would we rather be going down to the last game of the season on goal difference?

Safety 1st, chaps.  We'll see a 'bit more' football and goals from Hughton's slow burning revolution next season.
