I just don’t understand how ineffective our players are at shooting. I was better at shooting than everyone in our squad, and I’m not just saying that because I’ve had beers. Is the scouting department missing something crucial in their stats analysis?!

Ref was a European Anthony Taylor
We can’t score to save our lives. Not sure how people think that was any different to Dyche ball.
Conditions were virtually unplayable 2nd half, the smart tactic was to play for 0-0 and not do anything daft like switching off at the back….
Still think we are the better team but we can’t afford to risk it 2nd leg, we have to play our glorious B team, bin off this competition and concentrate on the league.

How many of those summer signings do you think were actually scouted? How many we agreed over a lovely 3 course meal paid by our agent mates? Sorry off topic I know.

Hence why performances are secondary and results are all what matters.
We’ve purchased two wingers in Hutchinson and Bakwa whose first thoughts tonight every time they received the ball were to check back and look for the easy pass.

Better team or better players individually when comparing against theirs?

Harsh on Hutchinson, easily our best outlet first half, tried to make things happen.

Yeah today he did make two nice cut backs and MGW wasted one and blocked the other.

They are a more cohesive unit who understands how to play together. Ultimately we are capable of playing better football. I think we would have scored at least one eventually if conditions were playable 2nd half. Do I think a 2nd leg starting line up of McAtee, Bakwa and Lucca can win? No.

I genuinely thought he was gash to be honest, maybe I’m being harsh as I’m tired and annoyed at the incompetence of the decision making at this club.
I don’t recall his cutback to MGW (but I do recall CHO cutting one back to him).

I’m also capable of winning the lottery!!
I personally couldn’t see us scoring, we had no clear identity as to how we wanted to attack and what we were trying to do, and no one really seemed to want to take on the responsibility of shooting bar Anderson.

Play the reserves next week and put us out of our misery. Concentrate on trying to win the first game at home this year and beating Spurs

Fulham & Spurs are pivotal.
Minimum of 4 points needed.
We need to give the fringe players game time next Thursday
