Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest

We are dreadful. Nowhere near any of their players and offer no attacking threat. I’m not sure how people can think that we’re not in trouble

This game feels like we've gone back to the first season after promotion where we just weren't overly competitive against the top half teams. Pretty depressing stuff.

Excellent by us right up until that goal. Game plan was to sit on the game and see if we could knick something.

Just one sloppy momemt has cost us.

Whats the alternative Wassy? Try to outplay these? Dont think so, they're right on it. Dyche had the game plan bang on.

Why are we not having a go at AV utterly passive by Dyche and the players the goal was only a matter of time. Championship will be much more enjoyable next season with most of our show ponies sold on!

You can be defensive without being this negative surely? Was more of a comment on just how much worse we are than last year and how far backwards we've gone.

Very similar to Everton but reverse roles, Villa have quality to get through low block. Anderson really struggled which is a major worry.

Be a very different 2nd half now no doubt

Wasn’t a good strike IMO, John should be saving that.

He went with the arm that was further away it looked like on replay. I maintain I do not get why we've swapped keepers, just seems unnecessary.

This football is exactly the football that made us successful last season. People just want to habe a go at Dyche.

It's been a tough watch, for sure. I think it's been possibly a shade too negative but understand the logic.

It's a 0-1 masterclass or disaster as Wassy said

Apart from Arsenal, this Villa side has railroaded every team they've played. And yet people think we can go there and out play them.

People have forgotten how negative we were Vs top teams last year, remember the 'only one team came to play' quotes?

It's horrible to watch but we are 17th, not 7th
