Forums would be a damned sight boring if everybody shared the same matter of opinion on every subject.
Every body is entitled to their own opinion, but it doesn't make their opinion right, nor does it mean you have to accept it. Debate and discussion are powerful things if used in the right context and can bring a lot of useful information out to the fore. The same applies to disagreement, provided it is done in a sensitive and respectful way.
Well that's my opinion anyway, it is entirely up to you whether you agree with it or not
I agree.
I'm a long-time member and poster on LTLF (under a different username I hasten to add) and feel that the mods get the balance right over there on the whole, in terms of allowing robust disagreement and debate, and even reasonable confrontation as long as it doesn't get out of hand.
It's clearly a different approach on here, but it's good to see another forum with a similarly wide range of topics. I'll try and keep the restraint in approach to posting on here more in mind in future.
TBF you basically said it was a load of rubbish and one of the most ridiculous things you've ever read. Not quite a debate more of a dig.
Sniffer didn't have to tell you it was him who said it, it's not different on here but debate should be reasoned not thrown.
Fair comment. What makes this forum so refreshing is that people share juicy info'. Sniffer, BadDog, Jock and several others...
To do this without being hammered, insulted or stalker 'digged' at all the time (which resulted in a toxic atmosphere on certain other forums...) is what makes this a better place for Forest fans who want a bit of inside track or just a cool place to hang out and chat about Forest stuff.
The best thing is to just enjoy the information at face value. People seem to post in genuine good faith and it should be accepted in that spirit.
So thanks to Sniffer, BadDog and Jock as well as the others such as Red for sharing the 'secret juice' and keep it coming.
SA. Yes I think we could both name a site where those that pass a bit of goss are insulted as “attention seekers” etc. Why do people feel the need to do that, and spoil it for everyone else. If you don’t want to believe what someone has posted, then don’t - nobody is forcing you to read it. Let’s hope this site never plumbs the depths, that that particular forum does and this forum remains a site for adult debate on forest related stuff.

One signing Karanka does expect Forest to make in the near future is that of a new under-23 head coach. Chris Cohen will be assistant under-23 coach for the coming campaign and Karanka believes he will soon have somebody to work alongside him.
“I think the club will say something in the near future. We have been working and I think the club will announce something,” he said. “Again, the club has been working and I think we are close to something.”
Lets see if Millsy gets it, he has had his interviews but so have others.

In last nights match with Bury, Ryan Yates became the 50th player to make his Forest first team debut since the formation of the Academy.

Yates. A worthy 50th player. The Academy is doing a sound job.

Wasn't a good start to the season at weekend for u23s, who lost to Crystal Palace 4-3 or u18s who lost 3-1 to Ipswich

That can't be good for confidence.
Didn't Sheffield United hammer them 5-0?
Haven't they appointed a new Under 23 boss yet? Is Cohen the assistant manager for them?
Can't we just get Jack Leicester back?

The new wave of talent?
I don't know much about them.
Anybody who can chime in about them and their prospective potential. Be pleased to hear which ones are the promising ones to keep an eye on.

Alex Mighten and Ethan Dekel are the 2 to watch.
Both were sought after by top clubs in both England and Europe.
Mighten is a skilful, quick wide player (ala Raheem Sterling)
Dekel is a number 10 full of vision and a lovely touch, plays with wing mirrors on

Alex Mighten was the only one I'd heard a bit about. Forest were keen on getting him re-signed? "Skilful, quick and wide player." Seems like a good prospect. Pace wingers always excite. Look forward to hearing more about him as time goes by.
Dekel. 'Plays with wing mirrors on' (now that sounds cool.) 'Full of vision' and 'a lovely' touch is just the kind of player I like to hear of coming through.
Hope to see them in a Forest shirt one day.
Os', Cash etc...have shown that there is a path to the 1st team.
Thanks for the info', Reds73.

Jayden Richardson a young right back has great potential, I rate him a lot more than Jordan Gabriel.

Noted. I hope they push one another for consideration in due course. Be sound to have an Academy talent come through at RB.
