Wtf was that corner?!

Short corners are such a waste at the best of times but giving away a counter too is just awful.

That ridiculous short corner sums up our attacking threat at the moment.

This is the sort of game we would end up winning 2-0 last season.

The kind of game that if you win, its considered a managerial masterclass. If you lose, its Dycheball is dreadful, what was he thinking.

Villa seem to be flopping to the ground at any opportunity.

Completely!

Having said that, i almost don't want it to work, it's an awful watch and in my opinion, we're being too defensive by quite a long way.

And...... we need to be good at set pieces to do this. Small amount of opportunites, often corners, which we cannot afford to simply waste. At the moment, i see it as more of an opportunity for the opposition if we get a corner. We won't score and it's an opportunity to break against us.

Yeah that has been a disappointment with Dyche, he hasn't managed to turn us into a set pieces juggernaut yet. I think defending on defensive set pieces has improved at least. Doesn't help with how many we give away though!

Game over as we have no goalscoring threat

Keeper beaten by a shot that was in the middle of the goal

Some strike FFS.

Very similar to Everton but reverse roles, Villa have quality to get through low block. Anderson really struggled which is a major worry.

Be a very different 2nd half now no doubt
