Sean Dyche, Stoney And Woany

Watching a bit of Dyche's first interview and he mentioned that he'd already told the players how good they were last season and how impressed he was with their performances and what they achieved.

What a contrast....

We haven’t kept a clean sheet in our last 20 games (i assume in all comps) so goes back to last season too.

Looking at the 90s pics of Woan and Stone and then seeing them on the training ground with a Forest badge on again. If any of you don’t have a warm fuzzy feeling you aren’t Forest fans!

I enjoyed the interview, I think the club is in safe hands with Dyche and his backroom team.

Always thought coops was brilliant with his PR and affection for the club - felt truly genuine. Think this is actually even more honest.

Proof in the pudding but that will get the fans onside - then we need a real performance from the team. They in my opinion have got off a bit lightly so far!

Time to get behind the new manager.

This will either reveal his true abilities as a manager who can be creative and successful with the right tools, or it will confirm him as a low block relegation battler only.

Hopefully its the former. Lets hope for a 1st win in a very long time on Thursday.

Everton would have finished 10th under him without the points deduction.

Sky reporter saying that the mood of the players seemed to instantly have been lifted since Dyche started taking training.

Just watching his press conference. Constantly talking up the players and saying how he's got to build the foundations to keep things solid and to allow the players to flourish and play.

Obviously the proof will be out on the pitch but it's hard not to be encouraged by the way he speaks.

Says he's listened to a lot of feedback from the players and he wants to build on what they achieved last season but with tweaks to add his and his staff's own imprint.

And he seems absolutely genuinely delighted and proud to be in the role and to take on the responsibility.

Let's hope he stays delighted for a very long time.

It's a pretty good deal for him, he gets to take over a squad that recently underwent a massive investment, pretty low bar to improve the team compared to how its been since gameweek 2 as well. Shore up the defence, stop us conceding from set pieces and hopefully grind out a few wins and everything will look much healthier.

I'm struggling to not be optimistic!
