Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest

We are all disappointed with those 2 sloppy sub enforced goals but with big teams struggling to win this season we take it and take a step towards CL football.

Glad to be back in the goals. Back 5 not necessarily when you are 3 up.

Another professional performance. When there played in 2nd gear and won. Keeping players fit and them enjoying themselves. Well done forest.

Great result. I imagine nuno won't be happy with the sloppy goals conceded but with rivals dropping points it leaves us in a great position in readiness for the next push.

I was a bit disappointed Nuno took Elanga off at 0-3. I reckon if he stays on he gets a hat trick and we win 0-5. Was it really necessary to go to a back 5 when 0-3 up against Ipswich?

Finally got back, very professional performance that 7 minutes was superb. That’s how you win games. The goals we conceded were sloppy but we will allow it, another away win is massive.
We are very close to doing something special.

The 2 sloppy goals are good because it will allow Nuno to focus them on not doing it again.

We seem to get sloppy when over confident.

We got the job done and we have 3 more points in the bag

We now have a well earned rest and then onto the next one.

Been a while but:-

Positives
- Convincing win for 3 points
- MGW clearly not adversely affected by Tuchals stupidity, if anything he looked even better.
- Elanga destroyed them.
- Another great performance from Domingez following his blips.
- Midfield domination was pleasing to see. Anderson gets better and better.
-Both full backs outstanding again. Williams showing again why he has nailed down LB spot
- Subs impacted.
- Yates vision and pass for 4th goal showing once again that he is a far better player than he is given credit for by lots of know nowts. Not to mention his ' Le Tissier' shuffle in a Midfield tight spot.
- 1st half generally excellent.

Negatives
- Soft goals conceded, albeit I'd have taken a scrappy 1-0 before and tbf to Ipswich, 2 excellent finishes.
- Domingez histrionics after His socks was ripped by studs. I hope he's OK after he went off, but it was embarrassing the way he carried on. Just shows, you can take the boy out of Argentina, but not the Argentine out of the boy.
- We've put Ipswich a step nearer relegation. Shame as its a great away trip (if you avoid train).

Overall, great day chant of the day " We're coming for you, We're coming for you, Real Madrid, We're coming for you "

Absolutely. Taiwo held the ball up superbly when he came on. Including for goal.

I know it’s Ipswich but never thought I’d see Yates dancing the ball out of pressure and move it up field, deffo step up to match the players around him, most probably because of Anderson never seen a Forest player able to get himself and the ball out of trouble

Newcastle must be gutted they had to let him go although I guess they're pretty stacked in that position right now.
