Assuming everybody is fit for Barnsley what would your team be?

Personally I wouldn't bring Grabban straight back in.

Can't see it being too different than the Wycombe game.

Given our last two outing's at Oakwell, I'm hoping that we approach this game with more positivity.

I really think we need a win going into matches against Bournemouth (4th), Swansea (6th), Watford (2nd), Reading (1st) and Norwich (3rd).

That's not me underestimating Barnsley, just mindful that the above fixtures are very tough on paper.

This run of fixtures against the top sides is going to be telling. As it stands, no one side is running away with this league and despite our very slow start, a good run of results here could set us up for a push in the new year. 

The very nature of this season would perhaps point to a lower number of points needed for the top places as sustaining consistency when matches come thick and fast won't be easy. 

If we do perform well during the next 5/6 games then we are perhaps over the hangover of last season and are in with a chance. If we don't then I don't fancy our chances beyond mid table. 

But certainly I'm not going to get carried away. We have played two teams at home that would be expected wins regardless of our league standing (and one was incredibly challenging). The team has to improve further in the games a head if we are to be competitive at the right end of the table

That’s the team I would go with, I still have concerns over Christie but he is arguably one of our strongest attacking threats at the moment.

i see Christie growing in composure and like many in the team starting to show a few flashes of class and true potential.

i am thinking this might be a new hallmark of this chapter of NFFC, the players managing to really click together and show collective class resulting in some great goals and wins, but it is early days and even now many of the players are still only really starting to settle in

I think this break will be perfect for our squads training, tactics and team bonding and confident we will beat Barnsley .. 6 nil

Defensively he has been a liability on many occasions. 

The Middlesbrough goal was a prime example and he even held his hand up. 

Not sure what Cash has to do with it.

I would agree.  A lot of people seem to hate Christie instantly as he was not Cash.  Whoever we purchased for right back was going to be negatively hit by the "its not Cash" people  They will deny it but its obvious to many.

McKenna, Figs, Ribeiro have all made mistakes in games................yet if Christie makes one its "headline news" for some people.

He has been our most attacking threat at times in some games.  As far as his defensive play, he has done ok, seems to be getting better now with more game time and getting fitter.  Trouble with a lot of the players.......they all are unfit and not match fit.......too long not playing.........they will all improve as they get fitter and play more games and as a team.......gel.
