He's brilliant.....but I'd keep him at the back, where he is doing exceptionally well. What I would do is give him freedom by being part of a back 3 and he gets license to roam.

Is he doing that great though? We did just concede 5, not generally the hallmark of a top performing CB

I think he's doing great. I think those around him are letting him down. He has snuffed out a lot of very good chances on his own with his turn of pace. I would agree that 4 at the back doesn't suit him as his has a natural inclination to want to go forward, but that's on Steve.

For me there is not enough time between games to change the way we play.

Tactics and style are so at odds with each other that it is causing to much space between the lines.

Full backs need inverting or go back to playing 5 at the back. In our current set up they are up the top of the pitch because the WF move out to in that when we are caught out we are outnumbered at the back.

Sangaré needs either dropping or played as the DCM that moves into the third CB/SW role as he did for PSV when FB burst forward. I'm leaning more to dropping has just hasn't got to grips with the premiership.

Needs to get some movement in midfield but playing this double pivot with FB high and WF moving in is causing space to be restricted and doesn't pin any of the other teams defenders back so they can easy step out and mark players.

Low block is fine if you wish to play but set up correctly. Right now the defence is dropping the midfield 3 are move all to same side and the WF are moving from central positions to wide again for a counter which in turns opens the central areas for teams to control the ball and build play. This then forces CB's to step out and creates more holes in the back line. Just pressing early would mean the space is covered bar the long ball which i feel more confidant our CB's can deal with. Or as many have said back 5 as one of the CB's stepping forward centrally to engage still means you have cover in the central areas.

Anyways mini rant over and back on track.

Wolves are a very organised team who play 3-4-3 who attack via counters in wide areas. However they are very prone to losing the ball when pressed early and the players haven't moved into the set positions for the patterns of play. Once settled they like to control the ball and draw teams to wide areas before switching the ball to create 1v1's.

As you expect with a team that plays wide they use crosses and aerial duels as their main source of goal threat as well as set plays.

A weakness this season so far has been been how aggressive they are when they press which has resulted in a high level of free kicks given away in areas that are percentagewise higher than other areas of the pitch to allow for goal chance creation. Because of the high level of free kicks and the GK's high starting position we have seen other team encouraging players to run with the ball in the final third rather than through balls behind which are mostly dealt with.

Teams who play with players who move from central area to wide areas have also had good success against wolves. Moving the back three and pinning them back with a wide high line makes it easier for the central players to advance with the ball.

Going to be a tough game for Forest no doubt as Wolves strengths fit well against the current set up and style. Wolves should win this by 2 or 3.

I don't think its crazy at all Sniff. I'm starting to think he can play anywhere. I also wouldn't mind seeing him given a go as a wing back (if we change formation and decide to go that way) with the way he can ping the ball around and also carry it forward.

Today will be Coopers last game. I've been up all night thinking about it. Quite frankly I'm absolutely gutted.

Today is going to be a painful watch. Today could be a similar scoreline to the other night if we're not careful and that could be disastrous.
