Membership Renewals

Demand for tickets is tough at any football club and it is a sign of progress that we have made. Least we're not one of those clubs with a 30k season ticket waiting list.

The club cannot win when it comes to tickets, as a structure will never suit all. Ultimately unless people can commit to season tickets we are never going to have a lot available for general sale/membership.

I had built up 56 loyalty points on my away membership only for all to be taken away at the start of last year and I did not even end up in the top tier of memberships meaning I only got tickets to 8 away games last year. The fewest I've attended across a season barring the pandemic for 20 years.

New 'MyForest' membership scheme announced.

In a nutshell:

Gold and silver combined to MyForest Pro with guaranteed home ticket access (£95 per year)
Bronze now MyForest Plus with second priority access and (subject to availability) the chance to upgrade to Pro (£65 per year)
MyForest Member allowing previous non-members with no booking history to become members now, third priority access for tickets (£35 per year)

The predictable amount of moaning on Twitter. At least this gives previous non-members *some* chance of getting home tickets. Price rises are a bit steep (Bronze/Plus is more than double I think) but not unexpected.

"Almost half of the home games last year went on general sale", I wonder how many that represented.

As a former Bronze member, soon to be Plus member, I found they were sold out within about 10 mins every game I wanted to go to so this surprises me.

Thanks for moving my posts whoever did so. I did look for the membership thread but couldn't find it!

As I couldnt get membership last season, I dont qualify for the Silver membership, but I can get bronze this year, hope some tickets may be available and then hopefully upgrade to silver next summer.

One good thing they have thrown in a nipper membership. My youngest is 9 now.and it will be third season I can't get a Season Ticket for him due to "new stand" stopping release of new STs.

Club don't really want ST holders now in truth. The Premier League gravy train is far better served by overselling memberships then selling match day tickets which I assume will hit £40 a pop this season.

I doubt increased capacity will satisfy demand when it happens either. This Premier League bandwagon has seen us gain thousands of people wanting match tickets. 23K vs Bournemouth at start of 2021-22 season lest we forget.

To be clear, I am glad our support base us growing-rapidly it seems- but I'm not keen on the fleecing people element. Simply and demand, yes I get that. But £95 membership is alot.

Away members nightmare yet to be announced either....

Memberships available to renew this morning. Pretty painless process really. Am holding out hope that I'll be able to upgrade my Plus to a Pro, but think it's unlikely.

Same here! I reckon there'll be a few but if not it might just mean less people have the higher tier so slightly more tickets on sale to the plus category.

Ticket details announced for Sheffield United game. I don't know if other matches will be different prices or not, but for adults this game will be £42 - £52.

Is this the price we pay pardon the pun for being in the top-flight?

How much were tickets last year? I forget.
