He gambled on spending big to get promoted to sell for bigger money.
They were close but not close enough- Leicester did the same but sneaked it.

I'm still struggling to understand why this thread has been moved into the Steve Coopers Red n White Army Forum. What have those cheating bastards got to do with us anymore? We could be 2 leagues apart come 7:00 Sunday evening!! 

I cant see what was wrong with the Ale House Forum TBH. It was ok to go in there and take part in the games or threads like the Championship or the Sheep Shaggers.

I will tell you what was wrong with the Ale House, nobody was posting in it most of the time only me. People who miss it should have posting in it. Now we have the Through The Seasons Before Us and nobody is posting in that either. I sometimes wonder why I bother. It's a lot of hard work that seems to go unappreciated by most until it's not there any more.

There has also been a Donate Button on the forum now for about 3 months and 99.5% of people have just ignored that too. I will keep picking up the expenses for now but there will come a day when I say enough is enough unless people contribute more to the forum and more to the expenses of running the forum.
