I thought Vrentzos was the devil?
Only the idiots said that. He got stuff done. The quote from Tails was that he gave a straight answer. He sorted Brennan’s contract.
The worrying bit is that as things stand both Brazil and Joyce are set to leave.

Not to rake up old ground but he clearly overreached in a number of areas and his role in recruitment was a key factor in the struggles pre Cooper. Lets not pretend he was great, he did not sound like he was great to work for. I do agree he got other stuff done though, it's a shame he couldn't have done a role that didn't involve being quite as close to the playing squad, ie the rest of the club which it sounds like we now don't have. However I'm not convinced he'd be able to do that and I think his role as the club was too tarnished by that point, shame though as obviously he was very good at some things.

Agreed Wassy and like you said thats old ground so leave it there.
Its Brazil and Joyce leaving and the future direction of the academy. Its a difficult balance as we don’t have many gems that look like making the fist team, certainly at PL level. Probably Taylor the only one right now. So we have to bring in talent like Danilo as the future.
Yet EM has invested in Cat 1 status and hopefully infrastructure plans are progressing, it would seem odd if he is letting it go.

And this is why this just seems bizarre. If they allow Brazil to leave then i'll be very disappointed. If they plan on dropping the ball with the academy, i could well see this not being aligned with Coopers thinking which is worrying, as i'd want Cooper to be in charge if we go down.

At the risk of starting an argument…
DT talking about Gaz Brazil.
Ignore the author, the issue is a genuine one which in my opinion risks the club’s most valuable resource.

Final score Forest 1 - 5 Spurs.
Valiant effort from our u'17's against 12 men.
The Ref was shocking!!!

real shame that the ref ruined the game. Beforehand we were looking good.
Can't be good for the lads that got sent off.
Nice atmosphere at the ground, felt like there were quite a few that don't normally go to Forest.

With Gary Brazil yet to sign a new contract. Do we read anything into Academy Director at Rangers Craig Mulholland leaving? Worked with Ross Wilson?

That could well be more than just a coincidence
