So disappointed with the result, they have to be the worst side I’ve seen this season, they were awful. We should have done better from the chances we had, we simply have to be beating these teams.

However not too worried, as long as we are thereabouts we can turn things around.

Was more annoyed by the booing in the TE upper, booing your own team when we were 4th in the table, 4th ffs. Some of our so called fans need to give their head a wobble, unbelievable!!!

i think we played some of the best football of the season last night, like Zico says we stopped playing after we scored, but the first hour was very good but seems bad to many because we didn't score, it happens to the best teams. Our summer spending was very modest, none of the signings were vaguely 'flagship' signings. Work in progress.

I find some of the reactions surprising and lacking perspective.

Players have bad games and managers make mistakes; that happens at every club, not just ours.

We look a far better team away than we do at home, and it has been that way all season.

We have a limited squad, which is paper thin in some areas, who have performed way above most peoples expectations this season.

The manager has been here just over 5 months, Modesti around a year and Anigo considerably less; on top of that we have a good few new players and others playing in new positions.

When you take all of that into account, being in the top 6 at this stage of the season is a remarkable achievement.

We have money to spend next month and it looks like we will be spending it; if next months acquisitions are as good, or better than those in the Summer, we are set for a good end to the season.

The two teams pulling away at the top have at lease 12 months start on us in terms of building a team, so it should come as no surprise they are doing well.

That should not detract from the fact that we are doing very well.

Trouble is mate unless everyone pulls their fingers out, those you mention won't get another 5 months. 

The other perspective is that Daws & Watson will be even older next year, and now's the time to capitalize on their good form, before they need replacing. 

Hopefully Jan should take us to another level, but what was required to take us to another level has been blindingly obvious for several windows now, and the club have failed to address said weak areas.

Hell, we lack pace and who did the club sell? Appiah. So we could spend a shed load of wages training other club's crap kids up like Mir & Muric.

Whatever happens to Lamouchi, and I really hope he is with us for a long time, Modesto and Anigo will be around for a while.

Modesto has been a big favourite of EMs since his playing days, he has gone out of his way to make sure he remained with Olympiakos.

Forest should have buried Boro'.  But it's becoming clear with results against Cardiff, Millwall and Boro' that Forest don't quite...have the toolset to 'bury' them or certain types of sides with a certain type of game plan. This is a reoccurrence of last season to a degree. Recruitment need to find the players and The Coach dig deep to find a way to win.

As for booing.  I never do or did.  But I can understand those that do.  A cold, dark night, £30 quid out of pocket and watching overpaid footballers get paid well to 'fail.'

Yes.  Forest are having their December 'wobble.'  With some difficult fixtures coming up.  Forest would do well to hold a top 6 place.  Let alone top 4.  (Now 5th?)

Any lingering dreams of top 2 seem faded somewhat.  Leeds and WBA have hit the 'take off' button.  'Two' teams seem to do it every season.  But to be fair to them.  They're at least a year ahead of Forest. So I won't grudge them it.

Forest are a work in progress and the frustration stems from that. 5th is about right. Bristol and Fulham have been 'doing it better' for a while now. Forest are only just waking up in terms of being run as professional organisation.

Credit to Marinakos. I'm beginning to understand his sense of ruthless predetermination. He's going to need it to get Forest and their Gypsy curse promoted.

I'll genuinely be surprised if Lamouchi makes it past Jan. Dec blip has hit, and EM's record is very trigger happy. He's also clearly very gullible buying players like Carvalho for 13m, and will no doubt believe that the next best thing is round the next corner. If he does stay however I'll be over the moon.

And Modesto won't remain a favourite here if he keeps signing players of the level which he has. This season's success is largely built on academy products & players already here before Modesto arrived. 

Big window in Jan coming up now. Time to shine.

Last minute last night, we had a free kick in a dangerous position and Carvalho put it straight into the keepers arms. I was pulling my hair out. Infuriating.

Alternatively its the perfect ball in the box for someone to run on to and deflect past the keeper...…….
