Nottingham Forest - Midtjylland
Just unlucky.........another day we score 3 or 4 goals.

It happens, they played well just failed to score.

On to the next game, hopefully it clicks Sunday.

Been saying that most of the season.

You get the same number of points for playing well and losing as playing badly and losing ie 0.

Thought we played OK, not particularly well, the lack of clear chances is down to us too. Conditions 2nd half were impossible.

14th December is our last home win. Suddenly we are going to win 2 on the bounce?

Yep

Fulham are iffy, spuds awful, villa inconsistent and Burnley down if we can't get results against some of them we deserve to go down

The decision to treat Kalimuendo the way he was treated and then the recommendation to get rid of him was also criminal.

88 chances created in our last 4 home games and one goal scored (I think).

And we had a proven Striker who was scoring goals for us in the very limited playing time he got on the pitch treated with such contempt.

I have heard rumours ( but not facts) that Kali wanted Frankfurt regardless. Whether we should have allowed him to go is a different question. I also think Vitor may have played him.
The criminal bit for me is that we had 3 managers and not one of them ever tried pairing Jesus and Kali together.

Can’t be true, doesn’t fit the anti Dyche narrative

Ok its been a day and we need some positivity to convince ourselves that we can somehow beat Fulham. So a few positives from the game last night:

- We didn't concede from a set piece against the set piece specialists.
- Taiwo and Netz are well rested for Sunday, Neco got 45 mins off and so did Sangare.
- I thought Anderson had a really strong game and looked like the 100m man for a change (aside from his shooting)
- I thought Hutch had one of his better games (low bar but still), created a few big chances that weren't taken.
- Hopefully Vitor is aware now not to play Morato.
- Another 22 shots created, decent effort really. If we do that in the second leg, we could grab an equaliser and force it to penalties...

Any other suggestions?

Good effort to be fair. To add

Hopefully Aina will be awake

We played 2 different systems in the game reasonably effectively, shows we can adapt.

We are unlikely to be playing in a monsoon again. We did OK first half, second half the ball literally wouldn’t roll on the ground there was no way of playing any sort of football, it was hit and hope stuff.

Hutchinson will have his face cream properly rubbed in and the coaching staff may realise if Sels needs a dry towel.

I thought Hutchison showed abit of that England u21 form where he took us up the pitch quickly and drifted through the 10 to sometimes pop up on the left. I can see why he was purchased (my issue was always that it wasnt much earlier to trigger the fee and get him to Portugal).

Possibly, but I also remember many people saying Newcastle had our pants down with Wood and he was donkey and never going to score and we should get rid............

How did that work out ?
