Hull City were poor across the board when beaten 3-2 at home to QPR on Saturday but it was the shortcomings in midfield that were perhaps most concerning.
The Tigers will have to be better up against Forest and Grant McCann will look towards Kevin Stewart to lead the improvements. Stewart has been City’s most consistent figure in the middle of the park and is at his best when harrying opponents into submission.
The experienced Ben Watson will not be easily flustered, though. He’s an ever-present this season and has won plaudits for giving Forest the control that has helped deliver a number of impressive results under Sabri Lamouchi.
Only 1 winner of that battle I’m afraid.
