Get real. I quite like Morato, he tries 100% but he makes mistakes, likely always will. Ndoye is 25 now and is highly experienced. if he cant beat a man now he never will. Not saying both are useless but neither are good enough unless you want to be in another relegation battle.
The likes of Bakwa and Hutchinson may yet come good but both need to show far more. No buying more doesn't guarantee success, buying more players isnt something this club is exactly shy of doing anyway. Just saying I think the current squad needs some significant strengthening to progress.
As Wassy says we will not be playing in Europe so there probability needs to be some weeding out of those who are decent enough but not quite at PL standard which lets be honest is a higher standard than the Europa League for the majority of fixtures.
I don't disagree the squad needs strengthening - that much is clear because we're finishing 15th-17th and got knocked out of both domestic cups by lower-league teams in our first matches.
All I'm saying is no player coming in is guaranteed to be a success. Probably more for the transfer thread but I'd love to see suggestions of who people think we could realistically sign to improve our options out wide and at centre half, and to mitigate the likely loss of Anderson. I don't watch enough football to make suggestions but I know many on this forum do.
