Rooney is mad for hanging on to that lot. In a few years time he'll realise that the period towards the end of last season was the high water mark in his career. He could've probably walked at that point with his head held high and got himself a decent club elsewhere, say Blackburn. Now he's going to be overseeing a shit show which he's too deep in to leave.
