Yeh, I quite like the look of Davis. His record is terrible (although not many starts) but he's a proper handful. Think we'd still need to bring in a 'finisher' alongisde him though.

Would also take a look at Simms from Everton (who was at Blackpool on loan), a big lad but quick and a good finish.

We will need a forward who stats aren’t off the scale (we won’t get them) but somebody who a level lower will smash it up.

If you look at the type of player championship CB’s struggle against, I think Davis is somebody worth considering.

I have no doubt under Hughton and the new recruitment team, we are probably analysing every striker that is attainable
