Season Tickets For This Year
Shame they didn’t say that Tuesday, we all knew what was coming, like TPL I hope we get the opportunity to review our options. I’m sure the club will do all it can to avoid refunds, I bet they were overwhelmed with refund requests. Plus fans that had already chosen option 1 would be really ripped off in the current climate.

Personally I’d be more than happy for any games I can’t attend to go towards next seasons ticket.

Has there been any further update on this?

How many times does it have to be said: the communication from the Club is appalling.

Just defended the owners on one thread but comms is still terrible, no defending them there

Free IFollow for all season card holders this Saturday - just received my email ‘invitation’ from the club.

So basically those that chose Option 1 have paid for two games and those that chose Option 2 got them both for free?

No idea.
I chose option 2.
I assume just the Bristol game is FOC - a gesture of goodwill?

The Cardiff game was available to all as well I think, meanwhile that’s £34 in season ticket money.

The club have said they are reviewing the situation.

My view is I want to help the club financially and show some support to the owners wherever I can.

That would be my view too if I felt part of the Club.

Instead they continue to take the piss.

This is also a club that signed twelve players but took advantage of the furlough scheme.

What is wrong with taking advantage of the furlough scheme? Those people are still getting their salaries paid. The City Ground is virtually closed and when it reopens I am sure those people will be back working at the club again.

So what if we have signed 12 players? Haven't about 12 also left?

And why are they taking the piss? Surely they would be taking the piss if we hadn't made any signings at all.

Yeah I'm not sure why football clubs using the furlough scheme is any different to any other industry? Arguably a lot worse affected than most but with currently no extra support.

Plus we sold Cash so taking FFP/losses out of the equation, in this window we'll still make a net profit. Signing players is part of the business, in the same way an insurance company will still take on new contracts etc

So the emails sent to season card holders are worded differently - dependent on whether you elected to take option 1 or 2.
No suggestion of subterfuge - but intriguing.
Await the club’s next move with interest.
