Forest vs. Cardiff won't be one of the test events this weekend. Not sure if the club applied or not.

Re test events:
BBC Nottingham Sport @BBCRNS · 2m Understand they didn’t apply. Club putting plans in place and gearing up for a potential fans return in October, rather than this weekend. Believe clubs had around three hours to get safety certificate signed off & application into EFL. #nffc

Looks like there'll be no fans in grounds for at least the rest of 2020 now, judging by the extended COVID restrictions being announced today.

^ so predictable. Don’t see me watching live games this season. Will confine myself to watching my grandsons play on Saturday / Sunday mornings ^

I haven’t renewed as in the main stand and couldn’t pre lock down. This was so predictable and although I could renew up until tomorrow- what am I actually buying? We are unlikely to be in stadiums until February judging by what was being said yesterday and I can watch iPlayer for £10 a match - £230 for every home game. I’m probably losing my seat which I’ve had for 10 years but would anyway if the stand gets developed. I’m sure the club will want my money when it eventually reopens.
As an aside I just wonder if the pay deferral rankled with some of our players. Alongside the furlough of staff. Especially as the club have been so heavy on recruiting new players - and is there some coming in on more £££? I know Lolley is quite left wing and it would sit well with him- perhaps why he is shocking at the minute...

You're exactly where we are re the season tickets Ozzy. I cant justify handing out £800 to reserve my right to a seat that is likely to be disappearing in the close season anyway. There will be loads more like us too I'm sure and the club, hopefully, won't allow us to drift away next summer.

I was going to take option 1 until this announcement. I've just taken the rolling refund. The difference between paying for the season ticket and paying 10 quid for the away Saturday games (around £630 total) and taking the refund and buying all remaining matches (£440, that's before not paying for the games on Sky). Around a 200 quid saving, which could be even more with the amount of games on Sky we will probably have.
Yes, I wont get a price freeze on my season card for next season, but I cant see the price going up over the 200 quid I will save. Tough choice in regards to going to games and supporting the club financially, but I cant see anyone being back in this year. The club should really delay the deadline and rethink the options as I imagine loads will be taking the rolling refund.

Really sad that thinking of doing the refund, if we could get in do I really want to watch a game with no atmosphere having to wear a mask. Was going for option 1 but now I think will go for option 2. Im not sure anyone can answer this for me but my youngest son is on a youth ticket, his ticket isn't linked to mine and his older brother paid for it on his card, he would also take him to matches if at all possible. If I choose the refund will my youngest son have to as well? No info re this on website and cant get through to ticket office.

And the silence from anyone in the ticket office at the City Ground is getting increasingly deafening.
Mr Randall - time to earn your corn & communicate.

At very least they need to suspend the deadline to choose options, then they can reevaluate.
I want to support the club, would have been happy to choose option 1 but that is a complete non starter now. Give us a reason to keep our money or we will have it back thankyou. Separate point but I fear for the future of many lower league clubs, dont think they will be able to fulfil fixtures. |
