It's a bit too soon for an autopsy too. A period of reflection needed in the next few days I feel, by everyone at the club. Scouts (poor recruitment), coaches (poor tactics), management (ground redevelopment and ticketing farce).

Well for me he is raging at the wrong man. He should be raging at the team who didn't give him the right tools to do his job. Can't keep blaming the manager if you keep bring in players who aren't better than what you already have.

We spent what 7.2 million all season and had what 15 new players come into the squad and raised 13.3 million in departures of 31 players. Yes a good clear out and money brought in but how many of those signings were better than what we had? Not many.

I hope the big man has a word with Watson & Dawson like he did last summer. They will hopefully inform him, having seen the likes of Diakhaby, Semedo, Bong et al close up, how poor the recruitment was in Jan and how knackered the players have been as a result.

The January recruitment was so poor and many of us were underwhelmed at the time. That Bong played 50 minutes and hasn't been seen since would surely rank as one of worst signings in recent memory. Diakhaby - barely qualifies as a footballer! Da Costa - jury still out but 

On the hand recruitment last summer was good in my opinion. Yes the loan signings have not worked out but Sow, Samba, Ameobi, Ribeiro and Silva have all made good contributions. If we could get upgrades on these this summer then we would have a good squad with genuine competition.

But we have to accept that to strengthen we will need to sell one or two of our best players. But I can live with that if the investment made is good

Surely every club will have lost massive amounts of money as a result of this and most clubs will fail FFP if rules not adapted for next season at least

You'd assume so, given UEFA have relaxed the rules would assume champ would also. Might just be a case that its difficult to actually do it.

I was looking earlier, sounds like they're pushing on with the salary cap (which would be very good if true) the article actually suggested players might strike ha. Might need a better source than the Mirror though...

Grabban despite the goals, needs back up and to do more for the team his lack movement really hurt us sometimes.
Midfield nowhere near enough creativity or legs coming from deep.
Defence where it mattered Worrall towards end of season showed his inexperience.

We aren't ready if we are honest, we need to build, we will probably lose the bright point of the season now in Cash but I can accept that.

WE HAVE TO INVEST PROPERLY IN PLAYERS WHO CAN WORK IN THIS LEAGUE AND HAVE A PROPER SQUAD, NOT JUST NUMBERS.

Don't think we did enough in the build up to coming back. Our performances (except 96 mins against Derby) have been pretty abject whereas others around us have been picking up wins.

Not sure what was done behind the scenes to ready the players but clearly not enough / not good enough.

Hi guys... take this with a pinch of salt... apparently sabri was well aware before last night's game that failure would mean losing his job and the chat with em is more of a goodbye and thanks for your efforts. I dont know how true that is but thought I'd share...

Also... and this I dont believe... but I did hear that there is a clause in his new contract that allowed us to cut ties should the playoffs not happen. I think that is a load of rubbish but didnt know if anyone else had heard similar

Contracts are water tight these days and performance related. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is true
