I thought Grabban was brilliant today. Ran his socks off for the team at one point he spent 5 minutes at left back covering for Carvalho (who was abysmal). Pity about the header, would of topped off a great performance.

Malta's harsh but he's right to a certain extent. It was dire today but my biggest criticism is that yet again Sabri underestimated Wigan. The team that started was destined to create nowt and thats what happened. Ameobi was poor but so was his service. Grabban was his industrious self but nothing happened for him. Ive had it with Carvalho. I'm sorry but he offers nothing and when he starts, the team suffers terribly. Watson looked laborious and Yates did nowt. Semedo looked out of his depth.

As for dropping Lolley and Silva when Sow was out injured, well that was a poor decision imo. You're ripping out any last morsel of creativity out of the side. I assume both will be rested on Saturday so why not start them today? It baffled me. Sabri's been excellent for us but he deserves some critiscm tonight. We won despite his selection, not because of it.

Carvalho is not a winger, never will be, he has not played in his best position all season, I can see why he is pissed off to be fair. Play him as a no10 or leave him out, do not hang him out to dry.

With regards team selection, you do have to rotate in these games, however this last month or so has exposed how woefully thin our squad is.

Once again today we were crying out for another striker on the pitch and we don't even have one on the bench. Hopefully by the next game after the FA cup this has been corrected.

I agree with the negativity above no denying we were awful today however we got lucky. We just have to use that momentum to hopefully put in a good performance on Wednesday and pray Sow is fit!

No ones hanging him out but hes regressed massively. If it werent for his price tag and because theres no viable alternative he'd be no where near the team, like Bostock isnt. I was his biggest fan but the team looks hindered when he plays.

Dont kknow what to think today. We won, a game which we woukd have losy last season i think. Winning when you play poorly is a good habit as has been said. Problem is that it is painfully obvious that our squad is not as good as I thought it was. We are desperately short of creativity. We have the defensive minded players to keep us in games but if we go a goal down I just can't we us winning.

Season will be decided on the transfer window I think.

Jesus, If I didn’t know the result and I came on here I would of thought we had lost. Yes we didn’t play well but we won, that’s all that matters. Every team has performances like that, even the ones that get promoted.

We were played off our own pitch by the team planted bottom of the league. Thats after being beaten 0-4 at the last home game and a poor draw agaisnt a rubbish boro team before that. These home performances are pathetic. Its just dreadful. Im not going to let a lucky 1-0 win cloud my judgement. Something has to change.
