Just seen this, not Forest or Olympiacos related but it made me laugh.
VAR stopped working for "a few minutes" during AEK Athens' Superleague match against Pas Giannina. And the referees found that out just after Ezequiel Ponce scored for AEK with his hand. One of those usual coincidences in Greek football...

Could've done having Webb there today. At least Clatternburg has said and advised we were screwed again and to report it. Also noted the ref wouldn't talk to Clattenburg after the game. TWAT

It's the Sun. If they told me it were nighttime I'd go outside to check.

I am sick and tired of players going down 'injured' only for the ref to blow up and stop play, then miraculously, the player gets up, does a rub of the alleged injured area and trots off totally recovered. Yes our players do it as well, I am not trying to make out this sort of thing only happens to us, but it is killing the game and something needs to be done to address the matter. Players do this to break down an opponents momentum, giving their side a chance to regroup and reorganise, but it is cheating, end of.
Tierney was right to stop play went Konate went down 'with an head injury'. Referees dont know the extent of a player going down holding his head and as a matter of precaution have to stop play and check. That is the right and sensible thing to do. But the moment Tierney starts going over to Konate, he jumps back up to his feet, does the rubbing of the injury routine and trots off. This is what really boils my piss. I am not going to go over what happens next, as that has been discussed on here already. I think its about time the FA introduced a rule that if play is stopped for a player on the ground, irrespective of if he needs treatment or not, that player then has to leave the field for 30 seconds, as is the case for players that do receive treatment. This might stop many players deliberately going to ground to stop play and seizing the opportunity to gain an advantage, either through time wasting or to allow their side the opportunity to regroup. If a player does receive treatment due to injury and play is stopped, that player has to leave the field, so way not if play is stopped and a players gets up and gets on with it? If a simple person like me can see what is happening, why cant the ruling bodies and officials? This isnt just a PL thing either, it happens at all levels of the game. My Daughter was given a bollocking last season, by her then manager, for running onto the pitch to tend an injured player right at the end of a game, because the manager wanted to run down a few more seconds as the side were winning by a single goal. Instead of coming up with ridiculous rules like a player cant be ruled offside until that passage of play has ended, why arent the authorities looking at this type of gamesmanship and putting rules in place to eliminate or reduce it in order to allow games to flow more freely? This type of thing, including diving at the slightest touch is killing the game. Like many others on here have said, they are losing the love of the game because there is so much wrong with it now, so am I.

Message to PGMOL. Please appoint referee’s to premier league matches who know the rules of the game.
