All the bloke did was put his hand into his pocket (for the not inconsiderable amount of £1.6m) to keep the club in existence until the new owner turned up with his cash. Hardly the crime of the century. And the bloke is presumably now never going to see that again after being screwed over by American Fawaz.

 If the FA do him for that they want shooting.

There is an FA investigation and Derby could face another points deduction next season as punishment for the alleged illegal payment of player wages.

You've got to assume that Stretford and co will want their 1.6m back ASAP, maybe that's why they leaked it before the takeover went through.

Not sure why they should chase Kirchner for it at all, ultimately it went to Derby to pay wages so Derby need to pay them back in some capacity. Perhaps that will happen during the takeover, you'd assume they'd be secured creditors.

IMO this is all a good tabloid story but what's the bloke actually done wrong? He's stuck his hand in his pocket and kept the club afloat. I cant see any conflict of interest there. Yes, Rooney is his client but how's that an issue?

If the money went into the club and the club actually paid the staff, rather than this guy paying them directly from his own account, then is there an issue?
