Definitely right above the contract. He needs a decent one too, not just another year.

late surge for Sammy? he is our player after all, he is a quirky likeable character, deserves more recognition, could become a hero i think he has another gear or 2 with a bit extra encouragement, i'd love to seem him really rolling his sleeves up and gritting his teeth and screaming at those around him, after another Grabban miss, Sammy picks Grabbs up by the throat, pins him up against the crossbar and rips the captains armband off him ... occassionally, you know what i mean?

I wouldn't grudge Sammy the runner up Player of the Season.

He's been a decent signing who was written off by some before kicking a ball in a Forest shirt.

Some great assists to Grabban's 20 tally last season. Some lovely interplay with Christie to set up that goal for Mighten.

If he did that all the time? He'd be our player of the season.

I think we should keep him for next season. He's tough and can play a bit.

Well the battle for second place is certainly more interesting than the battle for first place which Worrall easily won.

Can I just make the case for Christie again. He was making lung busting runs at the end of the game on Saturday. His fitness is top notch and he looks rock solid.

He got into the Championship team of the week confirming that he's among the top players in the league for his position. And of course he's contributing to a defence that's as tight as a nun's chuff.

Team high in assists and looks to be our best crosser which is probably not great for the other wingers.

I agree though his fitness and stamina are amazing and a real asset. A must sign for me, should be able to get him on a decent contract too and imagine he'll be keen to stay now he's found his level.
