Yep it is Sniff bit my take was that we never really laid a glove in them. If we had put them under more pressure they would've gone up a gear they were so comfortable. It was a routine win for them.

I feel like you're making a fairly big assumption there as opposed to accepting that perhaps our tactics limited them to not threatening too much particularly second half.

I suspect had we snuck a goal they wouldn't have managed to raise their game much more and if they pushed forward more would've left themselves exposed.

After all, they only scored because Samba got kicked in the head before the guy shot. Arguably another goal that may have been ruled out by VAR (not 100% on the rules to accidental keeper head injuries in terms of when a game should be stopped). Certainly suspect if he'd stayed down the ref would've struggled to not disallow the goal

We'll have to disagree on this then although i agree we're tighter than a nuns chuff at the back so were never probably going to concede 2 or 3. But apart from our 2 cb's they dominated every other part of the game.  I suspect had they not already scored they would've pressed and upped their game, but didnt need to as once they were ahead it was for us to score to get back in it and that never looked likely.

And as for Samba's head injury, im sceptical. He got up on his feet quickly enough but couldnt make the save. The goal wasnt his fault, but the bang on the head provides a convenient excuse for the ball going through him. We know all too well he can be a bit of a prima donna, but im not criticising him as i think hes done well of late.
