We were so much better with Silva. Three defensive midfielders allowed them to come on to us more. Would you rather be 9th but play attacking football? Genuine question. Obviously we'd all rather be Brentford or Leeds but we're not at that level RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Username - 11-07-2020 The positives: Samba barely looked troubled; Jenkinson played very well; Ribeiro does what Ribeiro does; Da Costa showed some excellent touches and looked very bright; Some more playing minutes into Sow and coming out unscathed; Grabban is tireless; Watson neat and tidy RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - wassy04 - 11-07-2020 Thought it was solid, potentially knocked Preston out of the battle. If Swansea beat Leeds will start getting nervous. We might have an awkward situation in terms of who to support in that Cardiff v Derby game... RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Strawberry Avenger - 11-07-2020 1-1. Not bad. SA. No way have Leeds and Brentford got a better squad than us. We all have good parts and flaws, but most of the Championship is such a level playing field. It’s all about playing as a team and actually trying to beat the opposition. RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - PsychoStanleyStone - 11-07-2020 Da Costa looks a good player Jenkinson was kept busy and did well, a bit cautious and slightly unsure of his offensive game Daws did well, he was only a toe nail away from cutting out the cross for their goal after losing to late goals and Preston winning with late flurries I'm happy with the Draw RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Username - 11-07-2020 Le Tissier just said that Forest have no chance of winning the playoffs. You would have to say Fulham or Brentford are favourites but if we are one of the four then technically we have a chance RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Strawberry Avenger - 11-07-2020 Le Tossier? Who is he? SA. RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Jacksbadhobbits - 11-07-2020 (11-07-2020, 05:18 PM)Username Wrote: Le Tissier just said that Forest have no chance of winning the playoffs. Is he a fortune teller. The best team does not always win the play offs. 2003 we were a better side than Sheffield Utd but they put us out over two legs. |
