9 on the bench and 5 subs is the big thing for us , could change our season , when you can throw on 4 subs with fresh legs mighten sammy etc instead of 2 whilst saving 1 incase of injury

5 subs will give an advantage to clubs with bigger squads and quality in depth. However, Hughton doesn’t really use subs does he?

CH has used just 16 out of the 21 possible changes available to him so far. Lamouchi used all 12 available to him in the 4 matches he was in charge. Thats 28 out of a total of 33 possibles.
9 clubs have used all 33 available to them and 5 have used 32 of the 33.
Only 4 clubs have used fewer, which includes Brum, Coventry, Swansea and Boro. This in itself is a massive two fingers up to Warnock who used Forest as an example of using the 5 subs system to our advantage.

Clearly didn’t materialise - wonder if Cafu was close to a start.
