I see where you are coming from mate but Lamouchi obviously thinks that Watson is worth keeping around the place, I don't expect him to play much but having a few old experienced British pro's around the squad won't do us any harm.

Hes been picked by all managers since his arrival. He clearly has a good attitude trains well and helps the younger generation. Cut the bloke some slack. He helped fund forza.

1 of the new guys amongst other attributes like being able to pick a pass and good skill was described as 'box to box'.
i think we need players who aren't just good positionally but do more work all round than the opposition
regards the cull i would like to see all those who stick the knife in on social media, those who are late for training or miss the team bus, would love all of these cleared out, ideally a squad of around 20 who are totally committed to the manager and the cause, if they aren't starting they put the effort in and do all the positive things to get selected
if we have a squad of 35, unfortunately it's got to be more brutal, we are overloaded, the atmosphere is bound to be a bit toxic, cliques of players who speak a particular language or aren't playing who are out of favour
not particularly impressed as of yet with the ins and outs, in fact all of it reeks of piss ... so far

how do you define success? start at the club, work hard, achieve things, end up with the top job and a gold watch after 40 years service? i guess not
let's say your job title is wing commander of a Kamikaze squadron, it's a bit like that, sort of difficult job satisfaction wise and other psychological challenges

i think managers pick him sort of knowing we'll probably lose but Ben will give 100% slowing down the incoming and the embarrassment
i'd give him a long deal, Watson sort of epitomises our club, shadow of former self, won silverware in the distant past, like an oil tanker stricken on the rocks, is it moving isn't it moving? lack of mobility, gives a once iconic club the look of an ageing pub team, that sort of thing

Watson played well last season when selected barring one specific game (which I can’t recall who it was against).
Unfortunately people will see what they want to see.
We have some decent Championship players, just need to play to their strengths.

I beg to differ, Watson was a yard off the pace and gave the ball away time after time in the many games i saw him last season. Like watching Neil Lennon in a Forest shirt at times.
