Gut feeling yes he will go and yes we will make our money back, the potential is there and some club will realise it.

RE: The Summer Clearout - McDurban - 13-02-2019

With MoN thus far favouring 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-1, I do not see a future for Carvalho unless he can adapt to a deeper role.
So for this reason I've added him to the sell/loan/retire list.

Hopefully it might be us for once and we keep him.

Yeah, let's right off someone who's had two pretty freakish random knee injuries as a sick note. That's a really fair assessment.

I already mentioned it on page 2 of this thread a few days ago that it would be foolish to write off Soudani.

Give him a pre-season to get 100% fit and then we can judge him better.

He's 31, what makes you think he's going to recover well enough to play in the Championship at 32, after two knee injuries?
As it stands he's only managed 8 games.

It's a fair assessment.

Interesting view.
For what it’s worth I’d certainly lose Hefele ( can’t see him ever being of a good enough standard to don the garibaldi red ).
But certainly keep Bridcutt & Osborn.

RE: The Summer Clearout - Fumanchew - 13-02-2019

Don’t see anyone mentioning Walker, hopefully and oversight...

RE: The Summer Clearout - ThePromisedLand - 13-02-2019

I have a hunch that Bridcutt is being assessed - by Keano in particular.
His performance - under the watchful eyes of the entire coaching team - for the 23’s on Monday may have given them food for thought.
MON suggested in his post match interview last night that he may make some changes for the Preston game. I wonder if Bridcutt might feature.

Still - regrettably - don’t see him in a Forest shirt.
Can see him forging a career in Leagues 1 & 2 - perhaps a sale in the Summer ( same applies to Jorge Grant ).

RE: The Summer Clearout - PsychoStanleyStone - 13-02-2019

I can't see many games, from watching Ben Osborne last night, I do like him, he really does put a shift in and to be honest seemed to give 150% effort, as did most of the squad, possibly because he was targeted he often seemed to be in the thick of it, he seemed like a bantam weight taking on Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury both at the same time … and I have to say coming out on top a lot of the time and making a few of their players cry, he seemed to be up against Jacob Murphy a PL player probably worth around £8m

I think Ben is a total team player and seemed quite strong on the ball and in the tackle, always seemed to make himself available

In many ways he typified the Forest performance, most of the WBA players would probably be valued 3 or 4 times more than our equivalent player

Anyway I definitely think he should stay. Be interesting to see all the detailed stats, BO seemed very involved last night, be interested to know tackles, ground covered, pass completion. I am sure a lot of what he does is overlooked. Basically an unsung hero and these are what we need more than fancy dans

Agree with everyone on that list apart from Carvalho, we seriously can’t get rid. Rather O’Neill went then Carvalho. Players of that calibre are hard to come by in this league.

The rest are either coming to the end of there career or simply not good enough for where we want to be.
