Not strictly to do with the sheep any longer, but the Mirror are reporting that Rooney has been sacked as Birmingham manager after only two wins in fifteen matches, taking the team from fifth to twentieth in the table during his tenure.

Almeira in Spain won their first league game of the season today and in doing so passed eleven points and made sure that the sheep keep their record of the lowest points tally in the five major European top divisions.
