You'd like to think Nuno sees this as an opportunity to showcase his work on the training ground. RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - Fumanchew - 04-01-2024 Looks like there will be plenty of water in the Trent end this weekend… RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - Salvatore Matrecano - 04-01-2024 Are AFCON players likely to play or have they already gone to join up with respective national squads? They are in their international camps now. RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - Fumanchew - 05-01-2024 Elanga out after picking up an injury vs Man Utd Not listened to the pre match but you hope it’s minor and the game isn’t worth risking and full rest for 3 weeks? Definitely some youth on the bench now as origi is a doubt RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - ozzyten10 - 05-01-2024 I also think Wood is a doubt too. Played many minutes in last 2 weeks RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - Salvatore Matrecano - 05-01-2024 What do we think then? Ody Montiel Worrall Murillo Toffolo Yates Mangala Hudson Odoi Danilo Dominguez Origi Omobamidele and Aguilera to get minutes? What is the point in resting fit players for tomorrows match? It wouldnt hurt to progress as far as we can in the Cup............bring in a few extra quid and as there isnt a match after for two weeks, we may as well go for it. RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - JWJW - 06-01-2024 RE: Nottingham Forest - Blackpool - Fumanchew - 06-01-2024 Like the vid says he’s treating every cup game as a final he wants to win it! CHO comes in for Elanga, it’ll be neco at LB and Worrall CB and I guess he stays with turner at GK. Both wood and CHO to get 60 mins(maybe they get the full 90?), unless CHO can last 90 mins against Blackpool. Yates to move up to wide right of CHO comes off. Maybe Larsson replaces wood? He’s 22 not really a youth anymore. If nuno doesn’t trust the academy players then I don’t know. Omobamidele can’t get a loan anywhere if he plays so that’s put the lid on that. He could also deploy neco on the RW as cooper did at some points at the end of last season. Montiel lasts the 90 at RB though |
