RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Floridared - 21-11-2020

We won’t get promoted and we won’t get relegated....mid table mediocrity Likely this season.

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Widdow - 21-11-2020

We had the six easy points at home against Coventry and Wycombe now back to normality. Someone should remind Hughton that the sun rule has changed, I know it’s not old skool but must make the best of all the resources. Poor second half

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Username - 21-11-2020

Samba - got beat a few times today to be saved by the woodwork
Christie- haters gonna hate
Ribeiro-worst match since his return. Didn’t look up for it when they were playing the Last Post
McKenna - was ok, dig out by Figs on a couple of occasions
Figs - not bad
Colback- does what Colback does
Yates-nothing of note
Knockaert-terrible set pieces, needs to get on the ball more, not really influenced a game since his debut
Lolley - MOTM, was everywhere, caused trouble throughout, unlucky not to score
Guerrero-little touches didn’t come off, missed chances to win two games, not good enough
Taylor-did little of note

Freeman- one decent moment, not enough for someone of his quality

Deserved more from that game but their subs changed the game. We ran out of ideas and they then scored a dubious goal on two counts- 1. Ball looked out to me 2. Ref gets in the way of colback trying to close down the shot. Second goal was awful from riberio and both centre halves were nowhere to be seen. So frustrating. I want to see arter and freeman start next match.
Guerrero guilty of poor finishing twice and Taylor should have done better with his header. Their keeper had a stormer though...
Better performance but crap result!

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Floridared - 21-11-2020

My earlier optimism now deflated. I swear I’m not going to watch the next game , honest...

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - PsychoStanleyStone - 21-11-2020

blame the kit or the fact the kit weren't subbed at HT or what happened to the crossbar, motm performance for 70 mins and then went awol

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Madforit - 21-11-2020

Disappointing display from the team, we started off so fresh and strong, then some poor decisions made by the manager and it all changed, very poor all round, some of these players need to be looking at themselves in the mirror.

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Colnago - 21-11-2020

That’s the best we have played all season, but if you don t take your chances you ll always be on the back foot

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 21-11-2020

I was swearing at Guerrero for his miss but we lost our way after he went off. Freeman did nothing worthwhile when he came on.
Not sure what subs would have improved us, Ameobi may have done something, our bench didint look too strong when we were chasing the game.

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Widdow - 21-11-2020

Shows how badly the squad has been built and unbalanced. Having two left backs on bench and no striker is just poor team management.

Don’t we have any subs available?

Assume he felt it'd make our team worse. Clearly helped Barnsley have 3 extra fresh players

And he was f@(€ing right.
I am so mad right now and want to be balanced when looking at the game and debating some of the sh1t I have just read (not the above Wassy04). But.....any analyst will look at how the crucial first goal came about. Someone wasn't even looking at the ball or the person taking the throw in as we were pushing for a winner and then wobbled back slowly leaving us exposed. I will leave it at that.

Colback and Yates were absolutely outstanding in the middle of the park today and I strongly suggest if you dont agree (it's all about opinions of course) watch the game again and tell everyone what jobbing Championship players could have done better. Of course on Football Manager or FIFA or fantasy football or what ever other pretend boll@cks people play these days, it's all perfect and you can play like Messi, here in the real world against a hard working decent Barnsley side, both were superb.

That said I'm not sure we are good enough to carry a luxury player like Knockeart who put in one good cross, a few neat turns and passes out wide and spunked up possession about 785 times. He was mustard at Brighton a few years ago, I really want Hughton to get him back on that level.

At the end of the day it's a familiar story, but with the cruel twist of playing really well for 80 odd minutes. Missed chances, individual errors and late goals conceded and no points.

I was very impressed with our starting XI today, more of the same level of performanceTuesday with a goal or two thrown in will do me compared to where we were........read into that what you will.

RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 21-11-2020

On a positive note...............Wayne Rooneys Derby County lost again today and remain rooted to the foot of the table
